Happy December to our wonderful Clients, Friends, Family and Staff! This has certainly been an exciting time for our team as we kick-started the holiday season by moving into our new office during the week of Thanksgiving.
Although small, this office was home to JWB for several years.
To say we had outgrown our old office might be the understatement of the year. This may be hard to believe, but we actually were able to conduct business with 35 teammates packed into a 2,500 square foot office. I think we only had about 12 real parking spots. Triple and quadruple parking became a way of life.
I still remember the day we moved into the old office and were fearful that it was way too much space for our tiny operation. Now we are blessed to be in a position to move to our new headquarters and start a new chapter in the story of JWB. Our new office is 12,000 square feet and we’ll have room to grow our staff up to 80-100 teammates comfortably when the renovations are completed. We have renovated the first half of the building, which we are now occupying, and the second half of the building will be completed around the middle of 2014.

We have been inspired by the working environments of companies such as Google, Infusionsoft and Zappos and are customizing the new JWB Headquarters to reflect our commitment to our culture. Part of the fun of building our own company is that we get to do things our way…and this new office will certainly be a testament to the JWB spirit!
We’ll have a large lunch area big enough for all of our teammates to each lunch together every day (which is provided by JWB to our team, of course!) Right next to the lunchroom there will be a JWB daycare to watch the little ones while our rockstar teammates are busy at work. There will also be a relaxation room with comfortable seats, couches, ping pong tables and other fun stuff. We’ll have a state-of-the-art conference room and training center which can hold audiences of roughly 70 people. One other interesting thing we have decided is that there will be no individual offices for any teammates. We’re all going to be “in the pit” together as we think it is reflective of our team-centered culture.
