Job Summary

We are searching for an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Outside Sales Leasing Agent. In this role, you will show properties in person to potential residents. You will also be provided with leads that you can call to schedule showings and vet for quality. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who love real estate and enjoy the flexibility of working independently while earning income through rental commissions.Β Β 

Accountabilities

  • Show properties to prospective tenants and provide tours of available units.Β 
  • Assist prospective residents with the leasing process, including application reviews, and deposit contracts.Β 
  • Conduct thorough tenant screenings, including background checks, credit checks, and reference verifications.Β 
  • Advertise and market available properties to attract potential residents.Β 
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the local real estate market and stay up-to-date with rental trends and regulations.Β 
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, landlords, and fellow real estate professionals.Β 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promptly respond to resident inquiriesΒ 
  • Collaborate with our internal Leasing Admins and Inside Sales Leasing Agents to ensure smooth application and move-in processes.Β 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Leasing Agent or in a similar role (Encouraged)Β 
  • An active real estate license is required (if not currently licensed, must be able to obtain licensure in first 90 days of employment)Β 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.Β 
  • Excellent negotiation and sales skills to secure deposit contracts.Β 
  • Knowledge of fair housing practices and legislation.Β 
  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools.Β 
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and drive for results.Β 
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Β 
  • Reliable, and independent, transportation to and from property showingsΒ 
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Β 

Compensation StructureΒ 

  • $65-75k AnnuallyCommission only (draw schedule)Β
